This world is broken, groaning under the strain of pain and misery, and we feel it. We hear about it on the news. We see it in the faces of our neighbors, hiding behind false smiles.
We can try to ignore it, but inevitably it makes itself known.
When the pain touches our loved ones. When the crime moves into our neighborhood.When the hopelessness moves into our hearts.
Are we all alone? Is anyone else out there anymore?
First comes the bad…but then the good! First comes pain, then comes healing! First comes death, then comes life!
…First comes Judges, and then comes Ruth. God showed me hope in the transition from Judges to Ruth this week. Though the whole world seems to turn away, there will always be people following Him!
