When someone we love is going through a difficult time we want to help them. We wonder if we could say or do just the right thing to make it all better. Or if we could say or do the wrong thing and ruin everything! Don’t be afraid to be there for them! Understanding their stress response can give you the key to being a comforting friend.
The Bible doesn’t give us a lot of dating advice. If only Jesus had given his disciples a lesson on the shores of Galilee, telling them what to look for in a spouse, where to find that person, where to take them on a first date, and how not to get hurt!
