Servings: 12 servings
- 1 package Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
- 6 tbsp butter, melted
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 ½ cup powdered sugar
- dash salt
- ¼ tsp vanilla
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour about 1 tablespoon of melted butter into the bottom. Combine the remaining melted butter with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Cut the entire package of rolls in half horizontally, like a giant sandwich. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish. Spread with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place the top half of the rolls on top. Poke holes in the top of each roll. Spread with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Bake for 12 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.
While the rolls are cooling, prepare the frosting. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla. Add milk or powdered sugar to adjust the texture as needed. Frost the rolls.
